We would appreciate some help in filling our plans while in Charleston between Nov 4 and Nov 7. Only a short visit but would like to take in a good sampling of the city and surroundings.
We like to walk but are not advese in driving to a location out of town. We enjoy good restaurants and one of us is vegetarian if anyone has suggestions that would be great.
We are staying at the Francis Marion Hotel.

Charleston Early November
We visited the small town of Beaufort and found it enchanting.
They have made the waterfront beautiful with swings to sit and watch the dolphins and scenery. There are nice little shops and a tour to be taken which tells of the town%26#39;s roll in the Civil War. We got a much different take on the causes for the first shots at Fort Sumter than we heard on the Fort Sumter tour in Charleston! Since the town was not burned, many beautiful homes remain. The tour was enjoyable.
