Hello,
I know you%26#39;ve heard it a thousand times already, but please forgive me and help us decide where to stay.
My wife and I are driving up from Savannah on Mon%26#39; 8th Oct%26#39;, and are slightly confused as to where to stay.
Somewhere lively and busy with great bars and restaurants would be just the ticket, just can%26#39;t decide what part of M/B would suit us. The grand plan is to book in somewhere that takes our fancy, and then stay over, maybe 5 days, maybe longer, depending on how much fun we%26#39;re having.Because of the time of year, we%26#39;re thinking that finding somewhere to stay will not be a problem
Any thoughts?
Cheers.

Actually, Sept. and Oct. are very popular months to visit the Myrtle Beach area ( we just got back). It%26#39;s not nearly as crowded as the summer months, but draws a lot of folks without school age children and the golfers love that time of year as well.
It sounds like you might be interested in the area around Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle, or the Barefoot Landing area of North Myrtle.
You can find extensive info on both of those venues on their websites (broadwayatthebeach.com or bflanding.com) . Our personal favorite for a great evenings entertainment is Crocodile Rocks - Dueling Piano Bar at Broadway. There are several hotels adjacent to Broadway, and Barefoot Landing has Barefoot Resort just across the waterway if you%26#39;re not set on staying oceanfront. Either of those options would give you quick and easy access to restaurants, bars, etc. with Broadway probably being the livelier of the two.
