Hard Rock Theme Park

Visited their preview center and thought it was worth the ride to see it.Admission will be $46 for all ages if I understood correctly. This will include any shows going on in the amphitheater.

Do you think it will be successful? Will you go if in Myrtle or would you make a special trip just to go to the park.Do you think this will raise the prices on condos at places like Arrowhead or River Oaks?

TM:

I would probably take a look at the Park if I were in the area. I certainly would not make a special trip just to see it!

I think there might be a special consideration for accomodations in the general area, although there are literally thousands of units there. At this point the prices still need to come back to earth, but will likely benefit once all the current inventory is absorbed.

What do you think about the accomodations at The World Tour facility?

The Hard Rock Cafe%26#39;s parent company was sold earlier this year, including the casinos. Do you know if the Theme Park was included in that purchase?

gorski,

Read somewhere that it was not part of the sale.Have played the World Tour and some of the condos are much too close to the fairways,at least on 4 of the holes that I played.Along one of the holes they have very little backyard and only a drainage ditch seperates them from the fairway.

My family is looking forward to the opening of the park. It seems like a much needed attraction for the area. We have been visiting North Myrtle for 25 years and usually 3 times a year. We will look forward to having a theme park experience added to our vacations and it will probably keep us from visiting Florida and Virginia as often.
