Renting a Large House on HH

Any suggestions on where to rent a house to accomodate 14+ people on HH? Looking for ocean front for 4 families with children of all ages. Maybe someone can direct me to rental sites. Thanks!

Start with vrbo.com most of the local rental agencies will then have a link that takes you to their own site. Google ';hilton head rentals'; and just go thru the list. Most of the major realtors do a great job. Have never had a problem.

There are several on the island to use. The ones I use are Hilton Head Rentals %26amp; Golf ( www.hiltonheadvacation.com ) %26amp; The Vacation Company ( www.vacationcompany.com ). If you prefer to rent thru the owner, use VRBO.com or Cyberrentals.com. Good Luck!

Most large ocean front houses are located in North Forest Beach, Palmetto Dunes, or Singleton Beach.

These homes may be found on VRBO.com or Cyberrentals.com, I think however that the best homes of that size are only available from the commercial companies. I concur with a precious poster on the Vacation company,since they are beach oriented, but Hilton Head Tennis and Golf is not. As their name indicates they are more oriented to the local sports activities. You should also try Island Getaway.

Hilton Head Rentals %26amp; Golf does offer packages with golf %26amp; tennis, but they are also very ocean oriented with their rentals. They have many houses %26amp; villas in Singleton Beach, Shorewood, Villamere, Seacrest, Forest Beach area %26amp; even Captains Walk. We Have used them several times %26amp; we don%26#39;t play golf or tennis. Our vacations are always beach oriented.

Sometimes you have to read the question. The original post talked about 4 couples with children. They need a large oceanfront home!

That means at least six bedrooms, possible seven. There are very few rental companies which have those in inventory. Vacation company has quite a few, as does island getaway.

You showed that Hilton Head Rentals and Golf has lots of villas. Great but not for this poster.

Good luck with your home search. All of the above companies have houses with the amenities you are looking for. A quick search showed the Vacation Company had approx 24+ homes with 5+ bedrooms, HHR%26amp;G approx 41+, %26amp; Island Getaway really excels on these with 95+ (not seperating any by view). Hope you have a great time on the island.

We are a group of eight mature golfers who appreciate separate bedrooms (snoring, you know). We have had success renting large HHI homes on VRBO.com.
