First Time visit. Restaurant Suggestions, Stuff for Toddlers

We are staying at the Harbour Lights Timeshares in early September. We have a 2-yr.-old and need some suggestions as far as restaurants, good beach locations, and stuff for 2-yr. olds.

As far as restaurants, we like going to local favorites that are reasonable and are kid friendly (2yr. old).

Can anyone suggest a beach location that is family friendly, possibly a quieter than others.

For toddlers, I noticed there is a childrens%26#39; museum - any thoughts.

Finally, any suggestions on things to do other than the beach.

Broadway At The Beach.. a shopping, entertainment complex.. and it does have a playground.. with benches.. so you can watch your child...

Barefoot Resort.. is another shopping and dining complex...

**Both are outdoors...

Ripley%26#39;s Aquarium.. is located at Broadway... its really nice.. my sons enjoyed it!

For restaurants, I recommend Little Pigs BBQ, King%26#39;s Famous Pizza, and Painters Homemade Ice Cream (dessert, of course). I would think that all three could work with kids in tow, though we went without any children.

for shopping.. go to tanger outlet

Not sure I would take young child to Collectors Cafe or Miyabi. Their attention span is all of 10 mins tops. You might enjoy Cheeseburger in Paradise, they have good hamburgers, good frozen drinks, live music, might be good lunch time place. We took our 2 yr old grandson last year. Wild Wings Cafe in Garden City not too far from your location, good wings, good ribs, child friendly, indoor/outdoor seating.

If you want simple and tasty, go for Burky%26#39;s. The menu includes burger/fries but also salads and baked potatoes and the ice cream is a big plus. Delicious and very kid friendly.

And if you go to Burky%26#39;s be sure to get the discount certificate from Restaurant.com
