Thanks!

Greenville Next Weekend??

Hello!

What is your price range? My budget price might be different than your budget price.

I suggest staying downtown. The Hampton Inn (new), Westin Poinsett Hotel, Hyatt, and the Holiday Inn Express are all located downtown. The first 3 are not what I would call budget but they might be running a special. Pettigru Place is a BB http://www.pettigruplace.com/

Haywood road is another location for those from out of town and so would Woodruff because it is close to shopping and food and major highways. Lots of traffic so be prepared.

On Saturday Mornings there is a small farmers market downtown but fun none the less. Tons of shopping and dining options including a Mast General Store.

There are a few other hotels/motels.

Antique Stores:

Yes there are tons of antique stores in Greenville and the surrounding area. Several are located close to downtown. You might not find a bargain... a lot of the places are quiet expensive.

I haven%26#39;t been antiquing in a long time. A lot of places have closed or changed names. If you do a web search for antiques you should get some places.

Here is a list:

Palmetto Home and Garden- Laurens Road (864) 234-4960

This is in a new location. Use to have a mix of antiques and other vendors. They have had to move locations due to Greenville Mall being demolished.

DANNY%26#39;S ANTIQUE MALL- changed locations several times but I think it still exists somewhere in Greenville.

BUNCOMBE ANTIQUES MALL Taylors, SC (864) 268-4498 Use to be huge.

Antiques on Augusta- New- Augusta Street in Lewis Plaza

Southern Estates Antiques (Mauldin Road exit off of 1-85) 8642998981

Restaurants/Smoking

Downtown Greenville wants to go smoke free but that is still up in the air. A lot of places chose to be smoke free but there are still bars that allow smoking.

What kind of food do you like? Are you more of a chain place or local? I could recommend a few places. Just give me an idea what you are looking for and price range and also meal time.
