We are having record heat this week. Anytime the temperature gets over a certain temperature, the carriage horses are not allowed to go out. Please keep this in mind when planning your trips this week. The bus tours are still running and they are air conditioned.
Up until the last couple of weeks we have enjoyed a relatively cool summer so maybe it will not last too long. It looks like most of the rest of the country is experiencing the same heat.
Plan indoor activities, walk on the shady side of the street, dress light, cool %26amp; loose. Drink plenty of water and do outdoor activities early in the day. Wear sunscreen!
