Im looking to take my sweety for his first trip to Charleston in late Nov or early Dec as a surprise. And being that Im a college student and I also work, Im on a budget but dont want a dump either. What I was wondering ...is there any cheap deals the hotels are running for the winter? I prefer Mt. Pleasant area or closer that way, last time I stayed in N. Charleston and didnt care for it as much. I just want the place clean with a comfy bed, not really into all the fancy stuff. Thanks for your help ahead of time!
Who has winter specials %26amp; packages??A couple of hotels I know of come to mind...both run winter specials. The first is on the Isle of Palms and is beachfront...the Seaside Inn, the second is in Mt. Pleasant right on Shem Creek...the Shem Creek Inn.

Both of these hotels would be great for ya%26#39;ll. The winter special rates for these 2 properties probably won%26#39;t be set until late October or early November. 2 ways to handle it in my opinion. 1. Wait until the winter special rates are announced. You can visit both of the URL%26#39;s I have provided and sign up for their newsletters...you should receive an email when the specials are announced. 2. Book the hotel you choose now directly on the hotel%26#39;s website...this is important because neither of these hotels charge in advance like most Third Party Websites (Expedia, Orbitz and the like) do...and then check back when the winter special rate is announced and get your rate reduced.

No worries...right now everyone in hotels is focused on 2 things...surviving the summer and preparing for peak season in the fall.
We did the Inn at Middleton Place package one Christmas and loved it. The setting was beautiful, the food great..and we could stroll the grounds as much as we wanted. It was a great value, too! Check it out.
