Beach Colony or Monterey Bay?

okay, I%26#39;m torn b/t these two hotels. I stayed at Beach Colony last year and liked it...but I kind of want to go somewhere different. Is Monterey Bay nicer? I really loved the location of Beach Colony (out of the hustle and bustle) and all. But Monterey Bay seems nice. And it%26#39;s also in the Northern part of Ocean Blvd.

I also liked the free breakfast buffet that MB advertises. Though I have read it isn%26#39;t fabulous, it%26#39;s still decent. Does anyone know if they will still have that during less popular months such as September?

Anyway, I am just curious which hotel is nicer.
