Which would you chose, Monterey Bay or Crown Reef, and why?
I realize that one is on the south end and the other on the north end of MB.
Monterey Bay or Crown Reef?
IMO, Monteray Bay has recently updated and always seems to be putting money back into their property...whereas, the Crown Reef doesnt. That would be the biggest thing....plus, I prefer the beach more at the north end than where Crown Reef is located.

Monterey Bay is in a great area of the beach! Crown Reef gets some pretty bad reviews.
I stayed at the Crown Reef July 20-28 and had a wonderful experience. Check-in was quick and easy. However, I prefer the southern end of MB (less crowded). My room was clean, housekeeping came every day and was friendly. Security was present on a regular basis around the facility. Food was okay at the restaurants. The best part of the Crown Reef are the abundance of pool facilities. The pools are never crowded because there are so many of them. We%26#39;ve stayed here every year and never had a problem.
