Consider staying at the French Quarter Inn, Harbourview Inn, Elliott House Inn, or the Andrew Pinckney Inn. All are nice, boutique hotels, that are unique to Charleston. For food eat Southern Cuisine, or Soul Food...often are the same thing. Take some kind of a boat tour...depending on your interest consider the Ft. Sumter tour...some kind of eco tour (dolphin watchin%26#39;, marsh tours and such) or go fishin%26#39;.

Spend St. Patties day in Savannah...world reknown for their party. Atlanta is good...most people like it more than I do...(my right...I grew up there)...phenomenal aquarium.

Have fun ya%26#39;ll.

I%26#39;ve heard good things about St. Patrick%26#39;s Day in Savannah.

Your budget sounds a little slim for a two-week visit, though. But, you know your own limits and circumstances. If you need some tips on things to see and do in Charleston, have a look here: http://piytravel.com/pages/s.piy?t=usscch

There%26#39;s a map that goes along with it that shows you where everything is in relation to each other.

Good luck!
