mb vs. nmb

will be in nmb from tuesday spt 4-fri spt 7. I assume we will spend most of our time in myrlte beach, vs. nmb although the condo we will be at is in nmb, avista. looking to golf, parasail, eat, hanging at the ocean, and shop...golf course suggestions? restaurants, will the beaches be a ghost town or will there still be some ';scenery';?

mb vs. nmb

Not a ghost town, no way. North MB is just as busy as MB and Sept is very busy month, we still have tons of golfers, some snowbirds are making their way down from Canada. Sept is great month to be at the beach. We do alot in NMB, we go to Dynamties at Dock Holidays at least once a week, next door is Marina Raw Bar thats Friday evenings, both located behind Hooters almost to Cherry Grove exit on Hwy 17. Filets Tiki Bar at the Little River Swing Bridge Sea Mtn Hwy., Molly Darcy%26#39;s at 17th Ave S in NMB, nice outdoor bar area. Many golf courses to chose from. Check with the front desk of resort for their suggestions. Our MB trip is weekly to Crocodile Rocks at Broadway at the Beach, there are several nightclubs located at Broadway, lots of restaurants and shopping.

mb vs. nmb

We stay at the northern part of Myrtle beach but, we actually perfer and spend more time in NMB.

We stayed in the northern part of MB at the Long Bay resort.

I seriously doubt you will want to leave NMB for MB. Avista is actually next to our timeshare. The beach is peaceful and beautiful but not a ghost town. It has been many many many years since NMB seemed like a ghost town.

For a good fast lunch you might want to take a walk up to main street and go to Georgios for subs. I might have the name slightly wrong. It has been there forever. I think the subs are out of this world.

We own a condo in the area that is fast becoming known as ';South'; Myrtle Beach (from the airport South to Surfside Beach). We enjoy every trip, no matter what time of year, however our favorite times of year are September to mid November and February to mid May. Just the best weather!

Just returned from our stay at the Ashworth! WONDERFUL!! Can%26#39;t say enough good things about it and the area!! It is two doors down from the Avista. You can walk to get ice cream, sweets, pizz, sandwiches, etc. We only went to MB twice- once to go to Broadway at the beach and once to go tot he outlets. Other than that, NMB was all we needed!!
