Just Came Back

Stayed at the Island Vista from August 18 - 25. Great hotel. Very clean and the housekeeping was great. The parking is no worse then any other parking decks. The weather was hot, hot, hot. The heat index was 105 to 110. We had to sit by the water because you couldn%26#39;t sit out in the sun or shade other wise.

Saturday nite, ate at Chili%26#39;s. We wanted something fast from a long day of driving.

Sunday- Carolina Roadhouse- really great place

Monday- Villa Mare- good italian food. Tonymik, Brian wasn%26#39;t working that nite.

Tuesday- Margaritaville- its the atmosphere, not the food

Wednesday-Liberty Grill- another good place, we ordered appetizers for our dinner, try the fried zucchini

Thursday- Rossi%26#39;s- good italian

Friday- T Bonz - the only place we had a problem. Waited 45 minutes for our dinner, (the waitress lost our order) then the meal came out wrong. Manager took it off, so it ended up fine.

Coming home, we hit so much traffic from Virginia on.

But it was a great vacation and wish we were back!!!!!!

Just Came Back

We were there the same week! It sure was hot! We had to buy another umbrella so we would have more shade on the beach. Sat in the water with our chairs to keep cool. At least it wasn%26#39;t raining!! You%26#39;re right the traffic coming home was horrendous!! We didn%26#39;t think we would ever get to Long Island! Glad you had a good trip!

Just Came Back

We were there at the Island Vista the same week.

Great hotel/condo adjacent to a not-too-crowded beach area. Large 3BR/3 Bath unit. Good housekeeping service and pleasant front desk staff. We enjoyed both the pools and the beach each day. Ocean water was warm and the kids loved the pools.

Will definitely be back!
