Best time of year for golf

Am considering a golf vacation, staying at The Sanctuary. I have never been to South Carolina. Would like to know the best months for golf, considering temperature, rain, etc.

April and May are ideal. There may be more rain in autumn, but the air temps are nice. July and August are very hot.

In winter, you might hit a warm patch; but It is hard to predict. I have seen golfers here in early February , covered up in carriage blankets in their golf carts.

Are you kidding...every month is a good month to play golf in S.C.;-). While April and May are good months, you will be competing with locals and wintering property owners for tee times.

The golfer in my house says the best months are June, October, and November. June is still early in the summer so not as hot; October and November-the courses have had time to recover from summer and the winds have died down. Did I mention any month is a good month to be in SC playing golf?
