We%26#39;ll be visiting Charleston in late October. We%26#39;re looking forward to visiting Magnolia%26#39;s for dinner. I notice, however, that their website seems to no longer exist.
Does anyone know if they%26#39;re still open (and still good)?
Magnolia's Restaurant?Oops. I did find their web site; it just changed a bit. Now I%26#39;ve got another question.
Seems like the same outfit owns Magnolia%26#39;s, Cypress, and Blossom. Out of the three we%26#39;ve only been to Magnolia%26#39;s, and loved it every time. It looks as if, price-wise, Magnolia%26#39;s is in the middle of the three. Has anyone been to all ov them? Which is the best?
Magnolia's Restaurant?A friend of ours, who is a professional (and %26#39;southern%26#39;) chef, is very fond of Magnolia%26#39;s, which he prefers to Blossom. I do not know whether or not he has been to Cypress.
All of these are very much open and serve great food. Each is different from the others so you do not feel like you are eating in the same place. You may want to go to more than one of their restaurants.
Cypress is wonderful but expensive.
I prefer Blossoms for lunch. In nice weather that is not too hot, the courtyard is a nice place to eat.
Magnolias is nice anytime and it has private rooms for parties.
All 3 of these restaurants are fantastic. The fried chicken at Magnolia%26#39;s is a classic. If you go to Blossum%26#39;s for lunch consider the Fried Grouper sandwich teamed with whatever the soup of the day is. Hard to go wrong with any of these restaurants.
Thank you all for your comments!!!
