Does anyone have a recommendation for Spud%26#39;s Restaurant? It is located at Murrel%26#39;s Inlet. We went there last year and the drinks were great, but the service was awful. Granite we had a rather large crowd of 10, our food took 1 hour to get out and we chalked it up to it being brand new. My husband wants to go back this year because of the atmosphere was awesome, I myself could pass....any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Anyone been to Spuds?
Just went there this weekend. Food was horrible. I%26#39;m not picky but this was bad. Service itself wasn%26#39;t bad, wasn%26#39;t the best but also not the worst. If your hunkering for a good steak try Chucks on Rte 17 North Myrtle Beach. Excellent

If you%26#39;re looking for an awesome restaurant south of Myrtle Beach then I have several sugestions.
Murrells Inlet
The Hot Fish Club (the onion crusted salmon is amazing),
Pawleys Island (just a few minutes south of Murrells Inlet on 17)
LaPlaya - Mexican/Latin/Caribbean food - Great service, nice atmosphere and amazing authentic food.
The Mayor%26#39;s House - Wonderful Seafood unlike the typical fried seafood you get just about everywhere else and other options for the non seafood lover. Best She Crab Soup anywhere.
Garden City (north of Murrells Inlet on Bus 17)
Nico%26#39;s New York Italian - A little restaurant that serves huge, delicious portions of knock your socks off Italian food. The Brushetta appetizer is worth the trip, but add in a huge portion of home made lasagna, or Chicken Marsalla, a salad bar and warm bread, WOW!
Want a view and great food? Try The Gulf Stream Cafe
On S. Waccamaw Drive in Garden City. Take Bus 17 to Atlantic Ave and drive toward the ocean - at the Garden City Pier, make a right on S. Waccamaw Drive
They have views of the inlet (sunset) and the ocean and wonderful food!
Those are my recommendations for some of the best dinning around.
Ron
