Anybody stay at this Holiday Inn recently? We are looking for a place that is pet friendly.
Holiday Inn Surfside Beach
yes they are pet friendly but there are ';pet policies'; that are in place with the city of myrtle beach and city of surfside beach. there is a pet fee which seems to vary, some say 75 and ive read its around 100$. mind you this is NON refundable. ive stood behind many a pet owner in line trying to check in while they pitched a childish fit in front of other adults about this. to me if your willing to bring fido, you gotta pay to play. overall its a nice hotel. no real complaints about it other than management is disorganized all the time. have stayed here in on and off season and mgmt never seems to really know what is going on. expect a hassle at the desk but the hotel overall is a 2.5 star all the way.
pro%26#39;s: clean, clean, clean (cleanest HI) ive ever stayed in, not RIGHT IN MB which is great for getting around traffic (by a local map :) and the beach seems a little cleaner the further south from MB i stay.
con%26#39;s: little noisy but that is usually fixed by a call to the front desk, the front desk mgmt needs training or more of it or something. they seem to always be mad at one another or just dont know how to check in multiples of people at a time.
my two cents. -trvlr
Holiday Inn Surfside Beach
I stayed there in July. I don%26#39;t know anything about pets there.
It is right on the beach, with a beachside pool.
We had trouble locating it, as we arrived after dark and could not find the street sign we needed. Print a map before you leave and you%26#39;ll be fine. Or do as we did and call on your cell phone after you are lost, and the front desk will talk you through where to turn!! :-) It%26#39;s in a residential area and should be easy to find if you have the correct street.
We enjoyed the hotel and would recommend it and would stay there again if we%26#39;re in the area.
