Hi Everyone.
Just wondering if there is another Walmart in the South end of Myrtle Beach?
Thanks
Walmart in South end of Myrtle Beach

Walmart in South end of Myrtle Beach
I that the one that is near the Pottery Barn?
Sorry I was getting 501 and 544 mixed up. I really need this holiday.
Coming in on Sunday. Staying at Holiday Sands South.
Thank you for the information
moose are you staying at the new one or the old one?
It%26#39;s the one you can see from 17 Bypass, right?
moose4---you mighrt want to check out some other grocery store, that Walmart is just crazy. The one on 544 is supposed to be the 2nd busiest in the USA (the one in Flordia, near Disney is number 1). We stop going there 2 years ago. Not only do you have hotels near there, right on 501 are 3 huge private campgrounds, plus the state campground. When we came in on a Sunday a lot of shelfs were empty (no mustard @ 2:00 in the afternoon). My husband had to wait almost 1 hour for meat @ the deli!!!
We shop at the Food Loin which was on Kings Hwy, across and down from the state campground. There was also a Kroger @ Kings Hwy and 544, down the street was a Piggly Wiggl (down towards Surfside). There are other grocery stores I would shop at BEFORE going to Walmar.
Also, not only were the shelfs pretty well pick over, the parking lot was crazy with all the Motor-homes and campers there (we actually were one of there towing a pop-up). Getting out of there was a night mare. I would see want is closer to your hotel. Unless you want to go to Walmart at 2 am (and I heard it can still be crowded then).
Also, you can pick up a paper and look at sales.
Most stores you may have to get a temp. shopping card to get their
specials but it is worth it.
--opps-I meant there are 3 hugh campgrounds (plus state park)
right down the end of 544 and Kings Hwy. Most of those campgrounds have OVER 1,000 sites per campground. (544-ends right at the enterance of Ocean Lakes campground (has 1,200 rental sites/campsites--plus all there other villas)
Check with some of your chain stores too. We found to our delight that our Giant Food here in the Maryland-DC area is owned by the same company that owns Kroger and we can use our Giant card to get Kroger%26#39;s food on sale.
cbr guest we are staying in the old one, but I have heard that the new one is really nice.
We just got the Walmart food section here where we live and thought it was a good idea for one stop shopping but now that I hear how crazy it is I will go to the ones that are suggested. I%26#39;m on holidays!!!! LOL
Thank you all for your helpful help.
Wal-Mart in July is typically crazy, but the other months not quite as bad if you can go early or later in day, you can get in and out relatively easy. You might have to wait in line for little while.
