My husband and I are thinking about driving to MB for a short getaway September 13-17. What, in your opintion, are some of the NICEST hotels or resorts? We don%26#39;t have children, so we%26#39;re just looking for luxury and a relaxing weekend at the beach. Thanks in advance for suggestions!

I%26#39;d have to agree with Mrs. Maryland....If you%26#39;re looking for ';luxury';, I guess any accommodations associated with $$$Grande Dunes$$$ would be at or very near the top of the list.
The pictures I%26#39;ve seen of South WInd...looks very nice.

like a great place. Good location too.
South Wind and Island Vista are pretty much carbon copies - very nice...but I agree Marriott Grande Dunes is tops

We just returned from the Marriott%26#39;s resort at Grande Dunes and absolutely loved it. The rooms very super clean, comfortable and the resort is top notch.
Absolutely Royale Palms! Brand new spacious condos, in the middle of everything.....VERY Luxurious!! I%26#39;ve got pictures!!!

So you liked Royale Palms? I think it%26#39;s a great complex. We had people at Hilton, Kingston and Royale Palms for our sons wedding August 11. It%26#39;s just beautiful! Having Royale Palms directly connected to the Hilton was very helpful, especially the night we had a big storm. We were able to get to all of our rooms within Royale Palms and Hilton without getting wet!
