Barefoot Resort beach access

I%26#39;m thinking of reserving a condo at Barefoot Resort for after Christmas. It looks like Barefoot Resort is approx. a mile from the beach. Where is the best and easiest beach access for Barefoot Resort? We have only stayed at ocean front resorts in Myrtle Beach and I%26#39;m a little hesitant about not being on the beach. However, the best rate by far for a really large condo (which we%26#39;ll need) has been at Barefoot Resort.

Should be public beach parking every block or so along the beach. Think they%26#39;re marked with blue and white signs. Several are at the end of the Ave%26#39;s. Shouldn%26#39;t have any problem finding one.

Just how big of a condo are you looking for? Oceanfront does cost more but is ussually worth it. Did a quick search on Elliott and found several four bedroom oceanfront condos with indoor pools..

If you need larger you might look under houses. Aces Wild is more of a condo building with two 6 bedroom and two 7 bedroom units.. No indoor pool or hot tubs.

Actually the price difference isn%26#39;t that big in the off season comparing it with oceanfront. After Christmas the beach is wide open; people out walking for the exercise. Barefoot is nice though and a trip to the ocean will be fairly easy. There are 14 beach public beach accesses in the Windy Hill section of NMB across from Barefoot. The Crescent section, Ocean Drive section and Cherry Grove section have a public access on every block. 17th Ave. S has the nicest I%26#39;ve seen; it%26#39;s about 30 blocks north beside Molly Darcy%26#39;s restaurant/pub. ~35 paved parking spaces and a men%26#39;s and women%26#39;s public restroom. You%26#39;ll have 14 choices on the beach in front of you.

Thanks for all of your helpful advice. I think we are going with the Barefoot condo. It%26#39;s 4 bdr, 4 bath, has a view of the intercoastal waterway.

I have another question you might know., Everyone is so helpful. Is there a bridge to Barefoot Landing from the Barefoot Resort that is friendly for walkers? Thanks

I think you made a great choice. Google the terms Myrtle Beach Barefoot Resort for your best option.

Yes, this is a sidewalk over the swing bridge.
